The Canon PowerShot S100 is the replacement for the hugely popular Canon PowerShot S95. It is quite similar to the old S95 however it has a larger zoom now at 5x (24-120mm 35mm equiv) and it has the new Canon DIGIC 5 image processor, which Canon claims to be 6 times faster than the previous version, making images at low light on a higher ISO have less noise. The Canon PowerShot S100 also has Full HD video recording with a 24P framerate. While recording you can also zoom, unlike the S95. The Canon PowerShot S100 also gains a GPS similar to the GPS in the PowerShot SX230 HS, so you can tag images with locations and keep track of your movements to plot on Google Maps.
