Nikon D7100 Camera Body

The Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera Body has quite a number of improvements over the D7000, featuring a 24.1 megapixel sensor, capable of a maximum photo resolution of 6000 x 4000 plus a new Expeed 3 processor for fasting image processing and improved quality.

The D7100 has been designed without an optical low pass filter (similar to the D800E) for improved resolution and sharpness. The AF system has been improved with 51 focus points and 15 cross type sensors to detect vertical and horizontal variations for fast and precise auto-focus. You are able to shoot photos at a max of 6 fps (up to 100 frames), which will be a big plus to sports photographers.

The D7100 retains dual SD slots which offers some very handy features such as recording JPEG on one card and RAW on the other. HDR is built-in to the camera, along with other effect modes such as selective colour, miniature and many more. The Nikon D 7100 also has a new 1.3x crop mode which will allow you to get closer to your subject by increasing the focal length an additional 1.3x on top of the DX 1.5x.

This Nikon D7100 Camera comes with a full 2 year Australian Local Warranty. Pop into our Gold Coast camera store & warehouse or order online. #CamerasDirect, happily helping you take a better #photo and being at your service. Thank you.

Great idea for an upgrade Review by Cory (Staff)
Ease of Use

The D7100 is not an entry level or beginner camera. It sits above both the D3--- series and D5--- series and is considered a enthusiast DSLR. Many of the customers I speak to are quite happy with the D7100 and often hold on to them to use as back up bodies even after making the jump to full frame.

The D7100 offers great image quality (resolution), low light performance and fantastic build quality. The D7100 also includes the AF motor built into the body itself meaning that AF-'D' lenses are fully compatible with this camera.

It's important to note also that the size of the D7100 is significantly larger than the D5--- and D3--- series cameras.

Awesome camera Review by phillbie
Ease of Use

Ihave used the D7100 for a year now and I still love getting it out and use it. I use the crop factor )1.3x) quite often with my zoom lens. I don't think i have used even 10% of its power yet! More good times to come
