Tamron 10-24mm VC Lens

In 2014 Tamron announced the first of its super wide angle lenses, the Tamron 10-24mm. In that time the lens did not have VC also known as Vibration Control (or Image Stabiliser) but thankfully Tamron got with the times and added the VC as an option. In 2017 the only way you can buy the Tamron 10-24mm is with VC fitted.

If you are a Canon shooter we would recommend the Canon 10-18mm STM lens at roughly half the price ahead of this Tamron 10-24mm. If you are a Nikon shooter or again a Canon shooter with about $800 to invest we suggest that you look at Tokina's 11-16mm f2.8 or the newer Tokina 11-20mm f2.8.

Thanks now to Christopher Frost for his comprehensive review of the new Tamron 10-24mm VC Lens.
