Fujifilm X100F Mirrorless Camera

The Fujifilm X100 series just keeps on rolling. Is this reflection of the success of the series in the eyes of Fuji X shooters? That seems to be the most obvious conclusion.

It is February 2017 and finally Fuji has announced the replacement of the Fujifilm X100T, the Fuji x100F .. yes they have gone backwards in the alphabet but have they gone backwards in features.

Described as "The Ultimate Compact Camera" (by Fujifilm) the X100F packs a 24.3mp CMOS sensor. Bla bla. Our customers have ranted on about the brilliant colour (and let's face it this harps back to the days when the likes of Fuji Reala ASA 100 film was my film of choice) and so the Fujifilm film day experience continues to impress.

If there is one major problem with the announcement of the Fujifilm X100F it will be this, if at least a decade of experience has taught us all and it is this. Fujifilm is the King of announcing a product and then not being able or willing to supply. Surely after all of the experience amassed in this multi-national company it has to be that they hold back stock. It can't be that they forgot to make some. It can't be that they were not making the camera LONG before the announcement. As a retailer this is real pain in the proverbial. As a camera buyer, you must also be pixxed off. My constant rants to those of power at Fujifilm has done nothing to either change things or get to the real truth.

So even without stock, the Fujifilm X100F is a camera that you should, at the the very least, having on your research / shopping list.
