Each new GoPro Hero camera that hits the market has it's own range of accessories from GoPro. It's a bit of a bitch for the consumer though as many, such as the battery, are not the same as used in the prior model. Some GoPro Hero accessories are however compatible such as a grip or a case or a tripod mount and so on.

The upside of a new GoPro Hero camera is that time has passed and the clever third party manufacturers such as SP Gadgets and the swarm of Chinese copiers have also come up with some new gadgets as well. Solve a problem we say and that is what will also happen.

The new range of GoPro Hero6 accessories is due to start arriving late October 2017.

One of the great things that GoPro is doing is to provide software that helps (or does it for you) in the editing of your videos. The simplest version is called GoPro Quik. Quik is the "chuck in some pictures / video, pick a style and music and go back to sleep as the software quickly builds you a decent version of your footage and images. The "up market" GoPro software is the GoPro Studio. It is in my opinion easier to use than most software, so let's have a look at Lucy Mel's "How to Edit GoPro Movies on GoPro Studio.

Is the GoPro Studio video easy to use? Well you will need to muck around with it a bit to get the result you want but put simply, the answer is Yes. The following video is the type of results you can expect with very little experience. I reckon the result is brilliant and frankly it has inspired me to stop using Quik and move on to GoPro Studio.
