Straight into a complete tutorial on how to use your Nikon D750.

Still a big seller at least a year after it's release, the Nikon D750 is the professional and serious amateurs' full frame DSLR of choice. The only camera in its' range that might be a better pick is the D810 due to the build and shutter longevity. If you are not a wedding shooter for instance but you want the full frame experience, then the D750 should be on your shopping list.

Nikons D750 camera body sits neatly between the d610 and d810 Nikon Bodies. We are assuming that you are as yet unsure about buying a new d750 or you would already have it in the cart - so - lets see what we can do to help you understand the modes and features that the d750 is capable of delivering for you.

If you are new to CamerasDirect we have this to say - We do NOT under any circumstance want you to buy the wrong camera. Its a a bit like being fitted for hand made shoes. The camera has to be right for you or you simply won't use it and what's the point of that?

We have independent d750 reviews at the bottom of this link. Take a few minutes to see if any of them offer you information that you hadn't considered before, then pop back here.

This google search is a bit random but it shows you other Nikon DSLR Camera options just in case you aren't set on buying Nikons d750.

Whilst we buy our Nikon cameras from sources other than Nikon Aust, they do have the manufactures spec and reviews for you to read.

Nikon's d750 could easily be mistaken as the d700 replacement but

The Nikon D750 FX DSLR is a great inclusion to the full frame range. It has many features as the more expensive models including 51 focus points, exposure and metering system, and low light capabilities.

The affordable D 750, 24 mp camera (priced between the D610 and D810) is ideal for the enthusiast and certainly is a handy second camera for the professional. The D750 with a deep hand-grip is very versatile and is powered by an Expeed 4 image processor, weather-sealed and weighing in at a comfortable but solid 750g by using some carbon-fiber paneling.

It has a unique tiltable 3.2 LCD screen for varying angle shooting and a hugh range of scene mode settings. There are also special effect settings for those who want to use the inbuilt camera editing feature.

The Nikon D750 FX-format D-SLR has been designed to liberate photographers from previous limitations while giving them more freedom of photographic expression thanks to a variety of factors. For example, because of the high ISO performance and the auto-focus capability in low-light situations, hand-held shooting is made possible even in the dark. The compact, lightweight and slim body with a deep grip widens the field of usage. And the tilting LCD monitor further expands the freedom of shooting angles.

The fusion of sumptuous imaging quality only possible using FX format with 24.3 megapixels and outstanding agility that expands the shooting possibilities.

Full-scale specifications comparable to those of high-end Nikon FX-format models:

  • High-density, 51-point AF system employing a newly developed AF sensor module ensures smooth AF even in low-light situations at -3 EV.
  • Metering and exposure control system equivalent to the D4S and D810 utilizing a 91K-pixel RGB sensor that enables the Advanced Scene Recognition System as well as highlight-weighted metering.
  • High-speed, high-precision sequential control employing four motors achieves continuous shooting at up to 6.5 fps and power aperture control during movie recording.

Newly developed image sensor and EXPEED 4 achieve superior high-ISO performance that surpasses even that of the D810.

Greater agility to broaden the field of potential thanks to the compact, lightweight and slim body that provides excellent durability and features a deep grip, all realized by zero-base design of the internal layout and the adoption of a monocoque structure using a new carbon fiber composite material and magnesium alloy.

Features to expand the freedom of creativity employed on an FX-format camera for the first time: tilting LCD monitor that offers more flexible shooting angles, built-in Wi-Fi that enables image transfer and remote shooting with a smart device, and the Special Effects mode that is provided with recent Nikon DX-format models.

This Nikon d750 Body comes with a full 2 year Australian warranty.

This is one of my favorite camera bodies we currently have in the store. It's a full frame camera that includes an articulated screen that makes video recording at odd angles much easier. There have been issues in the past with the sensor but they have all since been resolved according to Nikon.

After a sensor problem when first released the Nikon D750 is back in business and selling very well. This solid built camera is actually lighter than the D610 with carbon fibre reinforcements. With 51 focus points, built in wi fi, new style tilting LCD screen, Expeed4 processor this gem ticks many boxes and is a great inclusion to the Nikon full frame range.

Im disappointed with the low light /high ISO/ long exposure shots... There is a noticeable vertical red stripe up the left side of the image that is about 10-20% the width of the image. The low ISO noise & quality is good though.. The red stripe is a constant bugbear however the other features of the camera are first rate.
