Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon

If only Nikon made a 100-400mm lens. Seems odd that they haven't given that the sport shooters and wildlife photographers and bird photographers would love it. I guess that Nikons feels that they have that covered with the 200-500mm lens.
