The Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro - Stereo On-Camera Microphone is ideal for recording music as the atmospheric ambience is essential in recreating a realistic audio scene.
The Stereo VideoMic Pro is based on two 1/2 cardioid condenser capsules, providing a wide range to record.
This microphone is aimed at DSLR cameras, camcorders and large sensor video cameras. A high pass filter at 75Hz can be enabled which cuts out noise generated by air conditioning and traffic for example. A -10dB PAD will allow you to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone, perfect for places like live music or sporting events.
All microphones are warranted for one year from date of purchase. You can extend that to a full ten years if you register online at www.rodemic.com/warranty.
