The Manfrotto 338 QTVR Leveling Base (also called QTVR Leveling Head) is a compact, essential accessory that adds precise levelling to any tripod without a built-in mechanism—perfect for panoramic, architectural, VR/360°, or landscape photography where a perfectly level horizon is critical.

Made from lightweight aluminium, it weighs just 0.6 kg and measures 10 cm diameter × 5 cm height (compact enough to slip into a bag without bulk). It mounts between your tripod (3/8" female base) and head (3/8" male top), with three independent thumb dials for fine fingertip adjustments up to ±5° in any direction, plus a built-in spirit level (sensitivity 0.5°) for quick, accurate checks.
