The lens has a splash proof and dust proof construction, enabling use in many outdoor conditions. The lens can be used with the new Sigma USB dock, allowing you to make adjustments to lens settings or update the firmware. The lens has full time manual focus, allowing you to use AF to focus on a subject, and then make adjustments manually by rotating the focusing ring.
